Japan Tour 2015 w/ Tadataka Unno Trio

Currently at the forefront of the NY jazz scene, for the first time the Tadataka Unno Great Trio will make an appearance all over Tokyo, Japan. What makes this Trio special and original is its range of age from young to old masters.

On the bass is Art Blakey Jazz Messengers last bassist, Essiet Okon Essiet who infuses his Nigerian roots into his playing.

Completing the Trio is up-and-coming drummer that is currently the most attention drummer in New York, Jonathan Barber. This tour will be his first visit to Japan.

Jonathan Barber’s 26th Birthday Bash

Birthday Bash Alert!!!!
As you know I throw my birthday bash every year and it gets better and bigger. The date is Monday November 2nd at Black Eye Sally’s (350 Asylum St. Hartford, CT) starting at 8pm with a $5 cover. Joining on the stage will be Taber Gable (Fender Rhodes, Piano, keyboards) and Andrew Renfroe (Guitar and effects pedals). We will be presenting new music in a new configuration, so it’s going to be one special performance. Spread the word, come out and celebrate my birthday with me.
